Insurance

An Active Rental starts when the vehicle owner (“Owner”) confirms the rental commencement through the HyreCar platform and remains active while the vehicle is in the custody or control of the authorized Renter. The rental concludes when the vehicle is returned to the Owner or at the end time specified in the vehicle rental agreement.

Late Return Policy

All rentals must be returned by the scheduled check-out time, which can be viewed on both the mobile app and web portal. Effective communication between renters and owners is essential to ensure a smooth return process and avoid any delays.

Mileage Policy

At the beginning of the rental, the Owner is required to upload a photo of the vehicle's odometer to record the starting mileage. The default minimum mileage is set at 250 miles per day; owners can choose to increase the daily mileage allowance or remove the cap. If the Driver exceeds the specified mileage limit, a fee of $0.25 per mile will be charged.

Reward Program

HyreCar has launched its official driver rewards program! All drivers can earn rewards by achieving weekly or monthly milestones during their rentals. Rewards are issued via a Tango Rewards Digital Gift Card and are conveniently sent to the email address we have on file.
